Curiosity, creativity, humanity, stubbornness, authenticity, empathy... funny, I'm describing myself :) Recruitment is a field where you have to be childishly curious about what drives someone, what passion they have, why they do what they do and also what areas they want to develop. It's about the person behind the CV; curiosity has to be in your genes. Also a bit of creativity - if something can't be done, what can be done instead?
In 2008, I began my journey into the world of ICT sales. By 2011, my role had evolved into a fascinating blend of sales and recruitment. Discovering my passion for recruitment/HR took a fantastic turn. In 2019, I was honoured with an award as the best IT recruiter in the implementation and operations category. Every day I continue to be fascinated by what drives people.

It is wonderful to be an adessi because the unwavering commitment to integrity, transparency, determination and care for our colleagues creates an inspiring and supportive working environment that brings out the best in each individual.
When I joined adesso Netherlands in 2022, there was little organisation in the area of recruitment, which gave me the opportunity to build the hiring process from the ground up. This not only involved implementing efficient procedures, but also shaping the adesso culture together with my colleagues. Setting up recruitment within adesso not only allowed the development of professional processes, but also the creation of a corporate culture that reflects adesso's values. Every day we worked together to strengthen this culture, striving for professionalisation and innovation as core principles. It's inspiring to see how my efforts, among others, have contributed to the positive development and growth of adesso.
From time to time, it's good to look back on the journey we've taken, from where we started to where we are now. It's really impressive to see the progress we've made together, the ups and downs, and the successes we've celebrated together. The increase in the number of new colleagues is not only remarkable, but also incredibly exciting, to have all this knowledge and expertise in-house, with colleagues who share both professional and personal passions.
Oh dear, this is a bit of a challenge for me. I try to keep a positive and optimistic outlook, aiming to turn every day into a celebration.
My greatest talent? Singing, haha, although not everyone around me agrees - it's just so much fun! I love cooking, especially molecular gastronomy with unique combinations and flavours. Besides that, you'll often find me in my garden where I cultivate flowers or at the gym.
I prefer to go for a walk or have a sandwich with colleagues.
I love Christmas films; they always have a happy ending. I don't have a favourite, I like watching them all. My favourite music is basically everything from the 80s, 90s and 2000s, and I'm a big fan of Dutch-language music.
