City-centre location with a view of the Ruhr Valley
The second adesso office in the Ruhr area is located in central Essen with a fantastic view of the Ruhr Valley. Essen Main Station and a variety of hotels are a short walk away. There is also a wide range of restaurants and cafés nearby.
adessi can take a break from work in the office lounges, where a Playstation, table football and a dartboard are available. There is a plentiful supply of caffeinated drinks, with coffee and espresso sourced from a local roastery. Smoothies are available to Essen adessi once a week, and at the colder times of the year there is freshly brewed ginger tea on offer to strengthen the immune system.
Culinary highlights:
Essen city centre has something for every taste: from freshly made sandwiches and rolls to the obligatory Ruhr Valley currywurst with fries or a freshly grilled steak. You can find everything right next to our office.

There’s always something to discover in Essen. In the winter the Christmas market takes over the city centre, while springtime sees Essen holds its annual Lichterwochen lights festival. Summer is the best time for sporting activities, with a variety of running events being held. And autumn is all about the Essen Original festival. Fans of art and culture will feel right at home in the Aalto Theatre, the Philharmonie Essen and the Grillo Theatre. And if that isn’t enough, every Tuesday a two-hour adesso party is organised at a different location each week.
