Introducing adesso Potsdam
Between the edge of Berlin and Potsdam city centre
The Potsdam office is located in a building completed in 2021 in the district of Babelsberg, between the edge of Berlin and Potsdam city centre and right next to Babelsberg film studios.
The best feature about the Potsdam office is its proximity to the campus of the XU Exponential University and the adesso School of Coding and Software Engineering. A particular highlight is the 100m2 roof terrace, which offers a fantastic view of various Hollywood productions and other series being made in the neighbouring film studios.
Culinary highlights:
You can immerse yourself in the world of cinema in the film studios’ bistro and the Filmriss cafeteria at the Film University Babelsberg. With a bit of luck, you may even meet Keanu Reeves! Things are a little more down-to-earth in the university’s Mensa cafeteria. We also recommend Ulfs Café at the Hasso-Plattner-Institut. There are kebab, pizza and Asian restaurants just a short walk away – perfect for a quick snack at lunchtime.

After work:
Potsdam is one of Germany’s hidden gems. Summer evenings can be spent wandering through Sanssouci park or at Schlosspark Babelsberg with a view of the Havel river and the famous “bridge of spies”, Glienicker Brücke. Numerous other parks and green spaces at the UNESCO World Heritage Site only add to the historic atmosphere and are the perfect spot for sporting activities. The Griebnitzsee lake is just a short walk away and has a café serving cold drinks. The beer garden at Söhnel Werft is another excellent place to spend the evening. Concerts and parties are often held at the Lindenpark, one of the most established cultural centres in the federal state of Brandenburg.
